Senior Pastor & Lay Counselor
Meet Dustin and Kristen Krider! Dustin serves as our Senior Pastor at NewCreation Baldwin while Kristen is the leader of our Lay Counseling Ministry. Both Dustin and Kristen are graduates of Impact University (Clemmons, NC). Dustin is a native of Ashe county and moved back to the area with his wife Kristen in April of 2020 after graduating. They both are excited to be working with the staff and members of NewCreation Baldwin as we reach Ashe County and the surrounding areas with the love of Jesus. They Currently reside in West Jefferson NC.
Associate Pastor
Meet Zach and Allison Dillow! Zach serves as our associate pastor at NCB. While Allison is native to the area, Zach is from Weaverville, NC. They have two kids, Makenna and Maddox, and love residing in Ashe County. They feel called to the community and believe God is using them in a great way as they follow God’s plan for their life.
Student Pastors & Community Outreach Leaders
Meet Susan and Steve Edwards! Susan (originally from Welcome, NC) and Steve (originally from Augusta, Georgia) moved to Ashe county in 2017. Steve and Susan both serve as our Student Pastors and leaders of our Community Outreach Ministry. Susan and Steve are also the owners of the Buffalo Tavern Bed & Breakfast located in the Buffalo community. It is evident by just having a conversation with them that they both have a heart for helping, serving God’s people and a heart for kids.
Teaching Pastor
Meet Kenneth and Jackie Grubb! They are both natives to Ashe County. Kenneth enjoys fishing and both of them enjoy spending time at the beach with their family. While Kenneth has previously served as the pastor of Baldwin Community Church for 8 years, they have been involved in ministry for over 20 years. Kenneth now serves as a teaching pastor at NewCreation Baldwin. Kenneth has a pastor’s heart and cares deeply about those around the community. They are both excited to be a part of NewCreation Baldwin and what God has in store!
Director of Children’s Ministry
Meet Kristen and Johnny Shatley and their son Carson. Kristen is excited to be the Director of Children's Ministry at NewCreation Baldwin. She has been teaching young children for the last 18 years and she brings some of that experience with her in serving the children at NewCreation Baldwin. Kristen feels like God has called her for such a time as this to touch the lives of as many children as possible. She believes that children are the future and that they need to be taught Biblical Principles to live by. Kristen can't wait to see where God takes all of the children at NCB Kids City!
